Y'know, the Fox News polling results released yesterday that showed Fox News candidate Christine O'Donnell trailing her Democratic opponent by 15 points in the Delaware senatorial race.

After refusing to sit with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, O'Donnell returned last night to appear on Hannity. But guess what topic never came up during her sit-down? The unpleasant Fox News polling results, of course. There's no mention of it during this interview segment, and there's no mention of it in the next interview segment, according to TVeyes.com.

Here, however, was my favorite part of the program last night, when Sean Hannity thanked a guest for appearing [emphasis added]:

Frank Luntz, appreciate you being with us. We'll continue to watch polls and ads in the days and weeks as head.

Good to know. Hannity will keep a sharp eye out for newsworthy polls. Unless, of course, they're polls conducted by Fox News that show Christine O'Donnell trailing her opponent by 15 points.

UPDATED: Turns out that during the second segment last night, Hannity did make a passing reference to O'Donnell being down double-digits to her opponent. Oddly, Hannity did not mention that it was Fox News' own results that placed her that far behind. Nevertheless, my suggestion that Hannity sidestepped the issue was not correct.

UPDATED: What Hannity definitely did not mention last night was that Fox News polling also found that if O'Donnell's GOP opponent, Rep. Mike Castle, had won the primary last week, he would be up 15 points against the Democratic opponent today. That's the same Castle who Fox News personalities now deride as a “sore loser.”
