KRISTINE FRAZAO (SINCLAIR NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT): President Joe Biden moving full speed ahead on a new agenda, issuing this tweet from the official POTUS account, promising to take action on the pandemic, economic relief, climate change, and racial equity.

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: We can join forces, stop the shouting, and lower the temperature. For without unity, there is no peace.

FRAZAO: That unity on display in the Senate, where Biden’s pick for Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, was confirmed in a vote of 84 to 10. 

FRAZAO: But some Republicans already crying foul following the signing of 17 executive actions on his first day, many undoing the work of President Trump, including rejoining the Paris climate accord and the World Health Organization; halting construction on his border wall; and issuing a new proposal on immigration. In a statement, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz called it “deeply troubling that most of Joe Biden's first acts as president was (sic) to protect illegal immigrants and encourage illegal immigration at the expense of American jobs and workers.”
