Steve Bannon attacks House Republicans during leadership vote: “Until they come with a serious, adult argument, screw them”

“Until they come with a serious, adult argument, screw them, OK? This is called command by negation, in military and in mergers and acquisitions and hostile takeovers. This is called command by negation. All you got to do is hang together.”

STEVE BANNON (HOST): This fight is, it is about the cartel. And if you're going to continue to do it, what the opposition, instead of oh were constitutional conservatives, you guys are populists, you guys are terrible, just let's cut all the crap. Let's put all that aside. Let's talk about the reality here. We're a nation that is stone-cold bankrupt except the fact that our number one export happens to be the U.S. dollar, right?

And now you're seeing sophisticated people around the country saying look I think we're seeing a potential sovereign debt crisis in Japan, right? A potential sovereign debt crisis in Italy, which is the seventh biggest industrial economy in the world, OK? Essentially a sovereign debt crisis in the U.K. A sovereign debt crisis in China, and guess what, a truly a sovereign debt crisis here in the good ol' United States of America. This is serious.

Until they can come back with a theory of how you actually do this, how you get control of spending, what do you do with the debt ceiling, what do you do with the debt and the unfunded liabilities, until they come with a serious, adult argument, screw them, OK? This is called command by negation, in military and in mergers and acquisitions and hostile takeovers. This is called command by negation. All you got to do is hang together.
