CBS News reported that the tariffs Trump placed on Chinese goods “could cost an average family of four $767 a year,” according to an estimate by the Trade Partnership consulting firm; Reuters cited an estimate from the forecasting firm Oxford Economics that Trump's tariffs “could lead to a loss of 200,000 jobs” by the end of 2020.
