The South Dakota television anchor who was suspended weeks ago after he spoke at a Tea Party event has resigned, according to the Rapid City (S.D.) Journal.
“Shad Olson, who was suspended three weeks ago from his KOTA TV news anchor job, resigned Tuesday to pursue hosting a radio talk show and to work as a paid political consultant,” the paper reported.
“I've handed in my resignation,” Olson said to the paper. “In the wake of everything that happened, I just kind of felt it was time to do something else. I'm done as of today.”
If he is that obviously partisan, they are better off without him.
