The San Francisco Chronicle today announced plans for a larger business section that will use increased content from Bloomberg News and debut on Sunday.
“The collaboration, the first of its kind in the United States, will feature new and enhanced coverage produced by the staffs of The Chronicle and Bloomberg News,” the story revaled.
It also quoted Chronicle Publisher Frank Vega as saying: “By working with Bloomberg, the world's largest and most trusted information source for business news and reporting, we intend The Chronicle's daily Business section to be an essential read for business, financial and technology coverage of Silicon Valley and the Bay Area,”
The Chronicle story stated that it “will add a significant amount of content and news pages to the daily Business section, which will be renamed Business Report, The Chronicle with Bloomberg. As part of the partnership, Bloomberg will produce stories, graphics and photos specifically for The Chronicle.”
