RICHARD MACK (FOUNDER OF CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFFS AND PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION): And, I have made this proposal on Steve Bannon's show, I've made it on Roger Stone's show, numerous other shows all across the country, and I'll do it again right now on your show. We need the sheriffs involved in that deportation if it's going to be fair and effective.
ANN VANDERSTEEL (HOST): Right.
MACK: First, we don't want to round up people who are Americans, who are American citizens.
VANDERSTEEL: Right.
MACK: And who are here legally. We don't want to round them up. The best way to do that is with the sheriff. No one knows the county better than the sheriff does. He lives there. He's from there, usually, and he's been there for, usually, a decade or more. And he knows people that knows — that can give him the intel where these people are. Most of the sheriffs already know where the gangs are. They already know where the international terrorists are hold up, and let's be real here. Biden —
VANDERSTEEL: So, let me — sorry.
MACK: Well, go ahead.
VANDERSTEEL: No, I'll — let me just interject here. When it comes to, you know, the collaboration between what Tom Homan is planning on doing and, you know, Tom has been talking about this for some time since I know him.
MACK: Yes.
VANDERSTEEL: And he's said, "I can't wait to get back in. Trump's already told me I'm coming back," and, frankly, I've seen Tom lately. He's lost about 30 pounds. He looks fit as a fiddle, and he's in fighting shape right now to go and get this job done. And he has been very clear to me in private conversations that it is going to take a network of law enforcement. So, what I'm hearing you say dovetails right into what Tom has said.
