From the August 13 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
DOOCY: Let's get in the way-back machine, take you back to March. Watch this.
KLEIN: Hillary is under not one but six different investigations. And they're going through these looking for problems on her expense account, on her dealings with foreign leaders. All of this I'm told is prompted by Valerie Jarrett and the President who do not want to see Hillary Clinton president of the United States.
DOOCY: He said that months ago. Months later, Clinton finally has agreed to hand over her email server to the FBI. So was Ed Klein right? Is the investigation into Hillary'spersonalemail serverjustthe tip of the iceberg? Here to discuss is journalist and author of Blood Feud: The Clintons Vs. The Obamas, Ed Klein. And good morningto you.
KLEIN: Good morning.
DOOCY: Well, you were right.
KLEIN: Yes, I was.
DOOCY: So six different investigations including looking at her expense accounts.
KLEIN: Expense accounts, her dealings with foreign leaders, her taking foreign donations for the Clinton Foundation which he had specifically written in an agreement with the Obama's that she would never do.
DOOCY: Right.
KLEIN: And then of course the email. The Obama administration early in her tenure knew she was using a private email server and brought her to the oval office and warned her not to do it. And she ignored them.
DOOCY: And does this go back to the blood feud? Explain why the Clintons and the Obamas, even though Preisdent Obama hired Hillary Clinton to be his secretary of state, they hate each other's guts.
KLEIN: They do. There are really two reasons. One is idealogical. The Obamas are on the left wing of the party. The Clintons had been more centrist all along. And the Obamas feel that if Hillary gets into office, she will undo the Obama legacy. That's number one. But number two, there's a real personal animosity that goes back to the feeling that Bill Clinton, who gets on the phone and calls the leadership and Congress who calls officials who calls cabinet secretaries, has kind of under cut Obama's presidency.
DOOCY: Right.
KLEIN: And that he, Clinton thinks he should be president.
DOOCY: So he hired her to be his secretary of state essentially to keep an eye on her. Email-wise, they should have had the official state department account, but instead she went rogue.
KLEIN: She went rogue, and I think the reason she was appointed was more to keep Bill quiet than anything else.
DOOCY: Of course back then that was the big worry. Okay so, going forward.
KLEIN: Yes.
DOOCY: We know about this federal investigation that the judge says could result in a criminal conspiracy. What else? Other criminal investigations?
KLEIN: Well, you know, it's my understanding that even if the emails did not specifically say top secret.
DOOCY: Right.
KLEIN: If they came from NSA intercepts, she is liable both criminally and every other way for using these top secret documents on her private server.
DOOCY: Yeah and the story today is it sounds like somebody who worked for her may have stripped the classification off of it.
KLEIN: Yeah.
DOOCY: Got rid of top secret and shot it to her.
KLEIN: The question of course is who did that? She had a chief of staff Cheryl Mills who everything went through Cheryl.
DOOCY: Yeah.
KLEIN: And then she had Huma Abedin, her body woman, her shadow.
DOOCY: Sure.
KLEIN: Who was so close to Hillary that Hillary went no where without her. Huma carried Hillary's Blackberry.
DOOCY: Oh man, the plot continues.
