Fox & Friends Host Asks Newt Gingrich How He Would Advise Trump “If You Became His Vice President”

From the June 13 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): Newt, listen, here's Donald Trump talking about how the president refuses to say “radical Islam.”

[BEGIN VIDEO]

DONALD TRUMP: Our politicians are so inept and so incapable and our leadership, especially at the top, is just -- they don't know what they're doing. And we're allowing people to come into our country that are no different than this maniac, which, I don't know how many people are going to end up dying from this, but no different than this maniac that just did this to us yesterday. People can't believe it. People cannot -- they cannot believe that President Obama is acting the way he acts and can't even mention the words radical islamic terrorism. There is something going on. It's inconceivable.

[END VIDEO]

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): So it seems you're both on the same page. If you became his vice president, what would be your advice to Donald Trump?

NEWT GINGRICH: Well, forgetting the politics at the moment, the fact is President Obama and Secretary Clinton lied to us about Benghazi. We know it as a fact, they lied for over a week. It was deliberate and mendacious and they knew it. The fact is they're both misleading us about Orlando. And deep down, they know it. The question you have to ask is, how many Americans have to die before Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton decide they can tell the truth about the threat to the United States from Islamic supremacists?
