The Washington Post led the Pulitzer Prize winners today with four, while The New York Times took three, with ProPublica sharing in one award and the self-syndicated cartoonist Mark Fiore winning on the San Francisco Chronicle Web Site, SFGate.com. Five other newspapers also shared the prizes.

My preview a while back correctly picked Columnist Kathleen Parker for commentary and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for its “Cashing in on Kids” report about poor oversight of a state child care program.
