You can't get much more classless than The Washington Times today, reporting on the Pulitzer Prizes but failing to note its cross-town rivals won four. Believe it or not, the smaller D.C. daily, which did mention its lone finalist, completely ignored The Washington Post leading the awards this year.
“Soviet-style blackout,” Post media scribe Howard Kurtz wrote in a Tweet. "Washington Times story on Pulitzers never mentions WP's four prizes. Stay classy, guys."
Even long-time rivals at The New York Times, which won three Pulitzers, gave proper kudos to the Post, as they should. Is there any honor among the right-wing press?
