White nationalist Nick Fuentes says Trump “has betrayed us” and “has no intelligence for governing”

Fuentes dined with Trump at Mar-A-Lago in 2022 and said that they “had a pretty good rapport”

Days after announcing his 2024 run for president in November 2022, former President Donald Trump dined with antisemitic rapper Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. After the meeting became public, Trump made numerous public remarks about the dinner — none of which condemned Fuentes. In September 2024, Fuentes described the dinner, saying, “Trump liked me, and I like him. ... We had a pretty good rapport, and so he kind of — he heard me. He kind of agreed a little with what I was saying.” While a few Republicans spoke out about Fuentes’ vile views, many were silent, including several Fox News commentators.

Fuentes is a white nationalist who leads a contingent of online trolls calling themselves “groypers.” In addition to making comments downplaying the severity of the Holocaust and giving the Nazi salute, Fuentes has also made a number of shockingly bigoted statements, including openly fantasizing on Rumble about teaming up with Hitler to kill a Black man he claimed he saw littering and more recently calling on Jewish people to “get the fuck out of America.” (Despite such statements, Fuentes’ fans have included some on Capitol Hill.)

NICK FUENTES (HOST):  I think Trump is a cool guy. He's a very cool guy, and he's a cool president, but he has betrayed us. His administration is full of his own enemies. He's surrounded himself with them, and they do not share his America First agenda, and they certainly don't agree with us. As a consequence, because personnel is policy, we are going to get America last immigration and foreign policy, and we shouldn't have voted for it. I guess the only, here's the only white pill.

The only white pill is, hopefully, they will betray everything that they stand for, and, hopefully, there will be a cataclysm under their watch, and it will discredit them as well as the Democrats. Our only hope is that in a 4 to 16-year timeline, there is a cataclysm. The Republicans and Democrats are completely discredited, and then something real and organic and independent can rise up. That's the white pill. 

The only white pill is that maybe these assholes from the tech sector will catch the hot potato, and it will blow up on them and remove them from politics. That's about it. Because the next four years are not going to be what you thought they were.

It should be. It's you know, given the scale of the victory, it should have been like that. But Trump is an 80-year-old man and is effectively inert. He is no Julius Caesar. He is no Napoleon. He has no vigor. He has no intelligence for governing. And these people who are many years younger than him and smarter than him, they're going to run circles around him for four years implementing what they want.

And the economy might get a little bit better, but immigration's going to get worse, and foreign policy's going to get worse. And our enemies will be further entrenched than they were before. This is a triumph of the deep state. The Trump revolution had some successes, but all in all, it is a failure.
