BEN SHAPIRO (HOST): And then finally, Michelle gets to her final pitch which is Trump is in over his head. Which I need to hear from a former first lady who's run precisely zero things. Zero. Like, listen, I may agree that Trump has botched a fair number of things. But Michelle Obama's experience with running things is basically relegated to the White House vegetable garden. Ok, if you want to have Barack Obama say this, he's allowed to do it. If you want to have any governor say this, they're allowed to -- except for Andrew Cuomo, he's not allowed to say it. But Michelle Obama saying the Trump is in over his head - again, I don't know what her qualifications are to say this. I understand she's a popular political figure and it's a popular thing to say. But I'm just wondering what she has run so successfully that gives her the credibility to say this sort of thing.
...
Ok, "It is what it is" is, of course, her suggesting that Trump doesn't care about COVID deaths because he said at one point that when people die that "it is what it is, it doesn't change." And so, a fully dishonest, pretty viciously political partisan speech by Michelle Obama. Effective. She's good at what she does. I mean, I'll say that for her. She's good at what she does. But, is she really above politics? Does she hate politics? You get that sense from her? Now that is the next level of the Democratic Party. So whatever happens with Joe Biden, recognize that Michelle Obama's on the horizon.
