ANDREW KLAVAN (HOST): When do we start to be outraged? When does it stop being wrong for conservatives to be grumpy and puritanical? I mean, I really feel that a lot of conservatives don't understand sex. They actually don't know how it works in the human mind and in the human heart.
People who say things like homosexuality is a choice — you know, not the actual attraction, but the deeds, of course, are always a choice. All of us have choices. But people who say that it's a choice whether you're gay or not, that's silly. That is not understanding how sex works. That people who think that you need a motive, some kind of psychological motive to go out and take advantage of people — the sex is the motive. It is a powerful, powerful force running through people. I don't mean to condemn, like, the things that people do behind closed doors, the silliness they get up to, the playfulness, even the harmful playfulness that is consensual. I condemn that because I think it is degrading to people. I don't think you should degrade people. But it's not about that. It's about these abuses of young people. Now, we know that on the left, there's this movement to normalize this minor attracted person's crap, which is just, basically, rationalizing rape because a child isn't ready for this. And the butchering of children in the name of transgenderism. What is wrong? What is wrong that we can't ferret these people out? Why did it take so long to get Harvey Weinstein? Why does it take so long to — where are the names of the people who slept with Jeffrey Epstein? Are the people who attended these parties with P. Diddy, are they going to come out? Are the things they did going to come out? And why is it that when conservatives say, hey, this thing at Abercrombie and Fitch is disgusting, nobody says, oh, let's look into it because where there's smoke, there's fire. This is something that really bothers me, and I think that the right isn't somehow — isn't handling it right.
And I know we're coming up against this media wall of corruption because they're involved in it as well. But it's really gotta stop. I don't care if Donald Trump pinched some model's backside. I do not care. But if on a mass scale, powerful people are abusing the young, it needs to be ferreted out and stopped. And the fact that it isn't speaks into a deep, deep decay in our society. Alright. That's my rant.
