Fox & Friends' Kilmeade: Media “pulling for Hillary” to win presidency

On the January 10 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade claimed that “all you have to do is pick up the newspaper to understand” that “most of the media is pulling for [Sen.] Hillary [Rodham Clinton (D-NY)] to get to the White House.” Kilmeade was discussing the 2008 presidential election with former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX).

DeLay agreed with Kilmeade and added, "[Rep.] Rahm Emanuel [D-IL], a former Clintonista, used this coalition in winning the House and the Senate in the last election."

From the January 10 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

KILMEADE: And, Mr. DeLay, also when you talk about the news media, all you have to do is pick up the newspaper to understand that it seems like most of the media is pulling for Hillary to get to the White House.

DeLAY: The media is part of her coalition. I mean, it was proven in the last election. Rahm Emanuel, a former Clintonista, used this coalition in winning the House and the Senate in the last election. And the media was part of that coalition. They all coordinated going into districts, into states in massive bodies. I mean, it was a pretty awesome operation. And if you take that coalition and apply it to Hillary's presidential campaign, it's going to be very tough to beat.
