Fox host, ignoring voter registration, lies that not showing ID at the ballot box means we don't know if voters are citizens

From the July 9 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

PETE HEGSETH (CO-HOST): You've got presidential candidates saying crossing the border shouldn't be illegal in the first place. We've talked about driver's licenses, and oh by the way, the left is also against voter ID at the ballot box. They don't want anyone to see your ID If you vote, which means we don't know if you're a citizen or not. I mean, this is the party of illegality. And in this case, Jeh Johnson was really powerful when he first came out, Obama administration DHS official, saying in our day if there were 1,000 people crossing the border illegally that was a really bad day for me. Today we're seeing 3, 4, 5,000. He's an old school Democrat, or an old school member of the Obama administration that says I still believe in borders. I still think citizenship matters. What about these guys?
