Fox's Jason Chaffetz cites text messages to suggest FBI agent committed “treasonous” acts

DOJ inspector general “did not find documentary or testimonial evidence directly connecting the political views” of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page “to the investigative decisions we reviewed”

From the June 15 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): I think the worst text message though that's between [Peter] Strzok and [Lisa] Page, this is just unbelievable. He said “we're going to stop it.” She said, do you really think -- this is what she writes -- “Trump's not ever going to become president, right? Right?” And he says, “No, no he won't. We'll stop it.”

...

JASON CHAFFETZ (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): Not only are they just going over the top and sending a little text message, but I really do question, is this treasonous? This person was not working for [the United States] Fish and Wildlife [Service]. This was the person who's in charge of counterintelligence for the United States of America.
