During a discussion on FOX News Channel's Hannity & Colmes about the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal and its implications for the war in Iraq, FOX News Channel political analyst Dick Morris stated, “There really isn't any [a]nd there never will be” a “moderate Muslim voice to bring sanity and context” to the situation in Iraq.

Following is an excerpt from Morris's May 10 discussion with the show's co-host, Sean Hannity:

HANNITY: Why can't the Iraqi people show a little appreciation for the sacrifice? Seven hundred Americans are dead, so that in part, they can be free.

MORRIS: That's right.

HANNITY: Where is Kuwait saying, “You know what? These seven guys do not speak for the America that set us free. Or else, we would still have Saddam in power.” Where is Saudi Arabia?

MORRIS: You and I always have conversations where you argue should and I argue will.

HANNITY: Where is the -- can you tell me where the moderate Muslim voice is to bring sanity and context to what's going on here?

MORRIS: There really isn't any. And there never will be any. And John Adams said it best. He said when you quarter troops in a populous area, they will cause two mobs for each one they've suppressed. And I think that we're causing these problems to ourselves.
