CHARLIE HURT: Well, at times like this, I'm often reminded of the late great Charles Krauthammer and what he used to often observe which is conservatives began losing the fight when they vacated college campuses and universities around the country and ceded them to this, sort of, liberal orthodoxy. But this is far beyond liberal orthodoxy. This, to me, I would argue, is akin to racism because it's trying to use race as a wedge to divide people and to weaponize racial differences. And, you know, all the progress that we have made in this country has been made because - not from laws, but from the social construct where we all agree that we cannot tolerate racism in the public square.

And going back to what we talked about earlier, when the mayor of Chicago attacks Kayleigh McEnany using a racial slur against her. I get it that people don't, sort of, equate that as being as bad as if it were the other way around, but it's still a violation of the principle that we are not to use racial differences to attack one another. And when we do, it undermines all of our efforts to get along and to move in the right direction. And, so you know, I think universities are a hotbed of this stuff.
