Craig Newmark, the founder of online giant Craigslist, sat down today for a discussion with folks at the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute.
Asked if journalism still has a future, Newmark stated in the online chat he “Believes big future in networks of people who are citizens becoming professional - they will blur together by producing trustworthy news and fact-checking to become trustworthy. Believes there are big opportunities - rely on people you trust to tell how to spend money or time.”
