Newspaper circulation took another dip nationally with the release Monday of the Audit Bureau of Circulations' Fas-Fax report, which tracks circulation for the past six months.
The ABC report found that overall print newspaper weekday circulation dropped 8.7%, with a 6.5% drop on Sunday, during the six months that ended March 31, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The Wall Street Journal remained the highest-circulation daily paper, with a .5% increase to 2,092,523 readers, according to Editor & Publisher. USA Today came in second, followed by The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. Only the Journal saw an increase.
None of the circulation figures, of course, include Web traffic to newspaper sites.
