MARK LEVIN (HOST): NBC News, ranking member lieutenant -- excuse me, Liz Cheney, said at the end of her closing statement that former president Donald Trump, quote, tried to call a witness in our investigation, unquote, following the committee's last hearing which was June 20 -- they've had a thousand witnesses.

So what if he tried to call? This isn't a court of law. This is a hearing process, I thought. He's allowed to call whomever he wishes.
