Earlier this week the Wall Street Journal published an article in which Republicans, such as Rep. Darrell Issa, promised cooperation with the Obama White House if the GOP won control of the House. Rush Limbaugh though, was not happy, and chastised Issa for promising cooperation with Democrats.
Issa promptly called in to Limbaugh's show to make amends.
Well, the Journal has another story in today's paper about possible GOP cooperation, and once again Issa is quoted:
“I can continue to be the annoyer in chief if the White House doesn't want to work with us,” he said. “But if they do, we have a real opportunity to get some things done.”
I hope Issa's aides have Limbaugh's call-in number handy.
