STEVE DEACE (HOST): You know, in other eras, people that put the fun in fundamentalism like this show would have been concerned about authoritarian streaks within a figure like Donald Trump. But in this era, we're actually disappointed that he wasn't more of an authoritarian when he was president. People who do a show that puts the fun in fundamentalism like this show would have bemoaned, you know, politicians just doing whatever it would take to get reelected with no principle. But in this era, we actually miss that. We miss when politicians at least did what we wanted temporarily to get reelected because they don't even do that anymore. In other eras, a show like this one that put the fun in fundamentalism might have been concerned that Walt Disney's company was a little too humanistic. You know, believe in yourself. In this era, we're like, man, remember when Disney was humanistic? See where I'm going with this? Everything sucks. Everything's worse.
