The conservative lobbying behemoth isn't “overtly political,” the Wall Street Journal assured readers last week, in an article about how the Journal's corporate parent News Corp had donated $1 million to the Chamber. The group just spends tens of millions of dollars trying to defeat Democrats.
Well, here's some more information about how the GOP-friendly institution is not “overtly political.”

As of Sept. 15th, the Chamber had aired more than 8,000 ads on behalf of GOP Senate candidates alone, according to a study from the Wesleyan Media Project.
