White Nationalists Enthusiastically Endorse “Anti-Black Racist” Jeff Sessions For Attorney General: “An Awesome Christmas Present”

Leading white nationalist media figures are reacting to President-elect Donald Trump’s pick of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) as attorney general with giddy enthusiasm. They’re calling the “great” pick an “awesome Christmas present” and saying white nationalists are getting “absolutely everything we wanted” because Sessions is “an aggressive anti-Black racist.”

Trump's entrance into politics has energized and emboldened the white nationalist movement. And his presidential transition period has been marred by ties to white nationalism, thanks to his appointment of Stephen Bannon -- who has a history of pushing anti-Semitism and white nationalist “alt-right” views -- to a senior White House position.

Here is a summary of the reaction by leading white nationalists to Trump’s pick of Sen. Sessions:

David Duke: “Bravo President Trump!” Radio host David Duke is the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan. He said on his radio show that Trump’s selections of Bannon and Sessions, as well as Michael Flynn as national security adviser, were “great first steps” and that the “Jewish-dominated” media hates Sessions. He concluded, “Bravo President Trump!”

Neo-Nazi Website Daily Stormer: Sessions Is “An Aggressive Anti-Black Racist,” “We’re Going To Get Absolutely Everything We Wanted.” The Daily Stormer is a neo-Nazi website that worships Adolf Hitler and Trump. It helps lead online attacks against Jewish journalists, whom it routinely refer to as “kikes.” The site has frequently praised Sessions, calling him “a hero,” “our second favorite Trump guy (second to Bannon),” and “basically the only guy in the Senate who is an immigration purist.”

Site editor Andrew Anglin reacted to the Sessions news in a post headlined “It’s Like Christmas: Sessions for AG, Gen Flynn as National Security Advisor.” He praised Sessions for being “an aggressive anti-Black racist” and wrote, “Honestly, I didn’t even expect this to all come together so beautifully. It’s like we’re going to get absolutely everything we wanted”:

Honestly, I didn’t even expect this to all come together so beautifully. It’s like we’re going to get absolutely everything we wanted.

Of course, I was thinking of Sessions for either Secretary of State or Defense, but I think Trump is making a point by putting an aggressive anti-Black racist in as AG. It’s a corrective measure, after Obama turned the Justice Department into the Black Panthers.

White Nationalist Radio Host James Edwards: “Dear God Will Someone Please Pinch Me?!” James Edwards is the host of the “pro-white” radio program The Political Cesspool. Edwards is a David Duke acolyte and he “has probably done more than any of his contemporaries on the American radical right to publicly promote neo-Nazis, Holocaust deniers, raging anti-Semites and other extremists," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. He tweeted of Sessions:

Dear God will someone please pinch me?!https://t.co/Sv7mgj75Vu

My picks for cabinet posts might be a *little* better than Trump's - but not by much! Great work so far, Mr. President-Elect!

Trump picks Sessions as AG. Media immediately calls Session a racist. Didn't see that one coming!

White Nationalist Writer Hunter Wallace: “This Is Like Opening Up An Awesome Christmas Present.” Hunter Wallace is the pen name of Brad Griffin, a racist writer who is also a board member for the white supremacist hate group Council of Conservative Citizens. He tweeted of the Sessions news:

White Nationalist Blogger Paul Ray Ramsey: “Good Choice.” Paul Ray Ramsey (aka Ramzpaul) is a white nationalist video blogger who routinely attacks minorities. He tweeted:

Good choice. Groups that engage in Civil Rights violations will soon have a surprise. https://t.co/jDggEhXtfx
