ELIJAH SCHAFFER (HOST): The Gateway Pundit reports, "What a coincidence. Kamala announces Puerto Rico policy on Sunday as a comedian at the Trump rally slanders Puerto Rico 'Land of Garbage' and cracks crude jokes about Latinos just hours later." Jim Hoft reports. I don't know why we're covering this, but I mean, this is apparently you guys like this story. "What a strange coincidence. Kamala Harris held an interview with Chris Cuomo on Sunday afternoon on News Nation. The far-left Democrat Party nominee outlined a Puerto Rico policy during the interview, a topic that rarely comes up in the U.S. presidential politics. Kamala promised the Caribbean island economic development and improved disaster response because we all know how well the Biden-Harris regime does with disaster response. Via News Nation, Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled a new policy on her platform for Puerto Rico." We have some of the clips here that we'll play for you. Check these out. Here is the comedian making the jokes that they're saying were so terrible. The host of Kill Tony, I don't know. What name is it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. There you go. Listen.
TONY HINCHCLIFFE (CLIP): I welcome migrants to the United States of America with open arms. And by open arms, I mean like this. It's wild. And these Latinos, they love making babies, too. Just know that. They do. They do. There's no pulling out. They don't do that. They come inside just like they did to our country. Republicans are the party with a good sense of humor.
ELIJAH SCHAFFER (HOST): Yeah. Look, people obviously don't understand the show. They don't understand who this guy is, and they don't realize it was actually just meant to be jokes. He was actually taking on an archetype of what people think Trump supporters are. I mean, he's not even lying either. I wish we had a thicker skin. But of course, the left was so offended by this. Check out this clip here of Kamala Harris.
KAMALA HARRIS (CLIP): And for Puerto Rican voters and for Puerto Rico. And this election is not just a choice between Donald Trump and me. It is a choice between two very different visions for our nation. One, his, focused on the past and on himself and the other. ours. is focused on the future and on you. Puerto Rico is home to some of the most talented, innovative, and ambitious people in our nation. And Puerto Ricans deserve a president who sees and invests in that strength. As president, I will bring down the cost of housing, invest in small businesses and entrepreneurs, and fight to finally secure equal access to programs that strengthen the health care system and support children, seniors, and working people.
SCHAFFER: Right. So Kamala immediately comes out with a plan. We don't even hear about Puerto Rico. I mean, they technically are U.S. citizens, but we don't really care about Puerto Rico. And it's kind of sad that you would politic like this and pretend like when she got in office, she would do anything for them and that island. I just don't believe it.
